Think way back (a couple years ago) to the days of mass marketing.  Back when the more people you reached the better.  Back when pretty much all that counted was basic demographic info.  If you had a handle on gender, age, education, income and a few other tid-bits, you had your mass audience. Then, just select the right mass media and you were on your way.
