Instead of marketing to the masses, it’s marketing on more of a person-to-person basis. Instead of you finding customers, customers find you.

 

It includes the publishing of email, blogs, eBooks, videos, social posts and more to get the message out. Who has time for all that? In our minute-to-minute world, it’s important to make the time, since content marketing is on the rise.

I saw a terrific blog today from Seth Godin titled “Our biggest problem is awareness.” It does a great job of quickly and clearly explaining the drawback of simply depending on greater brand awareness for growth.

Bottom line?  Is brand awareness important?  Of course. But there comes a time when it will max out and no amount of money will create even more awareness.
